Talbots Job

Tami has put in her resignation at Talbot's Clothing store. The people at Talbot's really like having Christians work for them in the back because they are so trustworthy. So, Tami asked me to put this on my blog so that anyone who reads this might pass along the info to someone who might like a good part time job.
Need some extra cash?!
Starting in April, there will be an opening at Talbots for a shipper/receiver. You would probably be working two 8 hr. shifts a week (probably Monday and Wednesday) and will be in charge of processing the shipment that comes in a goes out. It’s NOT HARD and it doesn’t take any prior experience. The pay is great, the managers are amazing, and the people you work with are SO nice. Seriously, I think that’s the best part of it all…my boss has been amazing to work with, and all the women that work there are extremely friendly!!! That will be the saddest part of leaving this job.
I’m only quitting the job because I’m seeking full time employment. It’s been a great part time job.
Here are some answers to questions I get a lot:
Do you have to wear Talbots clothes?
No. You have to wear clothing that looks like it could have been bought there. What that means is that it has to be neat and professional. However, when you work as a shipper, you can wear khakis (no denim) t-shirts (no graphic t-shirts), and tennis shoes.
Do you get a discount?
Yes!!!! You get a 40% discount on all Talbots and J.Jill items.
Do I have to work weekends?
If you work solely as a shipper, no, you don’t have to work weekends.
What are the hours?
Those can change. Since I’ve been out of school, I work from 10-6 Mondays and Wednesdays. I also work as an associate at times, so then I’ll work a Friday now and then, but that’s only if you want to work as an associate.
If you have any more questions, either let me, Tami Inoue know (309) 287-2748 or you can apply at Talbots.
