I Love When the Unexpected Talent Comes Out in a Talent Show!

I had heard about this guy from Tim and Kari when we were with them in Ohio and it was so great to see him actually perform. This was on the show "Britain's Got Talent" (Equivalent to American Idol). Hope you enjoy!

Thanks Rebekah, I actually cried. He was just so sweet & humble & truly an amazing singer. We have that song on CD & I kept thinking it was the real guy & it was a joke. -JennyG.

What's so fun is that he went on to win and is doing big concert halls and selling albums!

What an amazing voice . . .

So what is this guy's name? And what was the song he was singing? The melody sounded familiar, and it is beautiful!

Hi Michael,
His name is Paul Potts I think. The song he's singing is called "Nessun Dorma". Isn't it a gorgeous song? You need to hear a recording of Pavoratti singing it...it's even better in my opinion.

glad everyone's been enjoying it!

So, I just walked in from school and found the laptop opened to this page (now I know what Alesa does before heading to work). Always the curious one I watched this video and...cried. Then I watched it again and cried more. I'm trying to figure out why. I just wanted him to do so well after seeing his personality. Keep this to the ladies. -clint

Yes, everyone, you MUST hear Pavoratti sing this aria. It's unbelievable. I played it for my 6th graders last year and they actually listened to it! And liked it! But this guy's pretty awesome too. - Ben Lug.

I am glad someone else listens to Pavoratti. The day he died I listened to him sing 'Nessun Dorma', (which happens to be my favorite), realy loud in the basement...I felt like my dad. Jarod thought i had lost it. I do love this guy too...especially since he has had no formal training. He's also cute with his snaggle teeth. -Heidi
