A Valentines Dinner

On Saturday evening, my Bible study group and their husbands all got together at my house for a Valentines Dinner. It was SO much fun!! Everybody helped with the meal so that made it easy for me! My sister, Heidi came over a couple days before and helped me decide how to decorate the tables. Then she let me use her dishes and water goblets for one table and I used mine for the other. It worked out great!! I know this is probably a very boring post for some of you but I told Heidi I would take pictures of how the tables ended up. I got carried away taking pictures and messing with them. Unfortunately, I didn't take any pictures of the actual dinner! You'll just have to imagine a LOT of laughter! Who knew that Jessica enjoys cooking SPAM for Darin, or that Rocky and Sharon were pulled over by a fake cop in a Mexican border town, or that Megan and Kory had a romantic "chest bump" the first time they saw each other after she said "yes"! Seriously, at one point I thought my face was going to spasm from all the laughter. I'm thankful for great friendships and for my sis Heidi for all her help and for my sis-in-law Marie for helping me clean all the dishes afterwards!!

Can you believe that my sister Heidi MADE these flowers out of tissue paper? Isn't she amazing? They looked so pretty on the table.

Your table was amazing!! It looked like it was right out of a Martha Stewart magazine. I was wondering who made the flowers - great job Heidi!

Thanks again for hosting. Andy and I feel so blessed to have such wonderful friends to "do" life with!! It was amazing that we were all able to make it!

Love ya, Jill

We were at the table with those AMAZING flowers - I almost grabbed one to check it out but then realized quickly that had I done that, it would be all over!

It was an incredible time!! Love you!
