Our Thanksgiving

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend. Unfortunately, I only got pictures of the day at our house. I DID take my camera to the other family get together but I didn't take any pictures. Sorry about that.

We had my immediate family (minus my Dad who was in Japan), my aunt Pam & Uncle Elliot, my cousin Makoto and his new fiance Anna and then my cousins Tara, Whitney and Whit's boy friend, Isaac came later.
We had LOTS of turkey...like 40 POUNDS of turkey! I accidentally bought two 20 pound turkeys. I thought I had bought 10 pound turkeys but I realized on Thanksgiving morning that I was looking at a 20 pounder! (I really am not blond but I agree that this is a very blond thing to do). So we just went ahead and made both of them...and I must say, it was quite delicious!
Here is a picture of the "kids" table. They loved having their own little "fancy" table. I gave them cloth napkins too and I have two plastic wine glasses so they can feel special too. Will and Darci were getting along really well until he ate the face of her Oreo turkey. She gave him a toungue lashing that I'm afraid was similar to what she gets from me at times!
Here is the "grown up's" table. and here's the table with people around it...and can you believe this is the only picture I have of Maks and his new little sweety? Here is another shot of the adults having a good time.aria was having fun rolling around the floorgame time! We had a great game of Pictionary and then followed that up by Cranium...in which the girls whooped the boys!!while we played games my kids enjoyed watching home videos...one of their most favorite things to do. matt and A. Pam getting ready to battle it out.matt and Tami racing to get the first guess. This picture shows how into it we all got! It was so much fun! Here are the girls who beat the boys at Cranium...minus me of course.my honey enjoying our supper...we always make turkey soup for dinner. It's a nice way to finish the day.here are the cooks...it seriously took Jarod and Heidi about 3 hours to make this soup...it was delicious...but 3 HOURS?!? Tami said she thinks they were doing more than make soup. "I've walked in on them twice now kissing" (Tami said with a sigh)
Can't wait till next year!
