A Deeper Understanding

One thing I love about Josh is his love for Heaven. He loves to ask questions about Heaven and he looks forward to Jesus' return. He loves to hear that on that day we will hear a trumpet

sound and Jesus will be here to take us to the homes He has built for us. I was sad for him on Friday night though when he had a new understanding about Heaven. Josh happened to be lying on the couch when we got the call that Grandma had died. Josh had always been so tender and kind to Grandma and really loved her. When he heard that she had died and was now in Heaven, his little face became so sad and he said, "Why do we have to die to go to Heaven?". It was the first time he understood the sadness of losing someone to Heaven. But it will also make Heaven even more special...because now he knows someone who's there.

That was so sweet. What a tender hearted little boy. Maybe he will be one that doesn't have to die to go to Heaven, but will be here when the Lord comes back...just like he looks forward to.

Really sweet Bek. What a tender heart! I love Heidi's thoughts on the possibility of Josh being one that wont have to die to go to heaven. Wouldnt that be AWESOME!
