He's Growing Up

Yes, he's lost his first tooth. It came out while he was enjoying corn on the cob. I was so glad that it was something exciting for him...rather than frightning. He was so excited to put it under his pillow so that the Tooth Fairy could take it and bring him a surprise.

He woke up this morning to a whole pack of gum under his pillow (I know, it's not money but he loves gum about as much as I do). When he asked me where his tooth had gone, I told him the Tooth Fairy took it away. I said, where do you think the Tooth Fairy lives? He said, "I think she lives in a tiny, tiny house in the grass." He said he thinks she has a pile of teeth in her tiny house. So fun to hear what he is imagining.

Have a Happy Thursday.

He is such a handsome little man. Loved his thoughts on where the tooth fairy lived too!

That's so cute... I remember when I was little, I had a loose tooth on a Sunday. That day at church lunch, I was eating a chicken salad sandwich, and when I was done with the sandwich I noticed my tooth was gone. It was nowhere around me. As it turns out, I think the tooth fell out while I was eating the sandwich and I ate it! CRAZY!

My favorite part was always seeing what the "Tooth Fairy" would bring...
