Kentucky Lake Vacation

My side of the family got away for a weekend to Kentucky Lake. I didn't get a ton of pictures and my sister, Tami took some beautiful pictures that just make our whole vacation look so classy! You can check them out here.

Here we are going to look at my Dad's sail boat for the first time.

 Josh was pretty excited about sailing!

 Sweet Baby Oliver...I feel like I hardly saw him...he slept all the time.

 Jarod got us out of the docking area and then Matt did the steering while Daddy and Jarod took care of the sail.

 Rika watching the guys take care of the sail...and I think feeling relieved that my Dad had Jarod and Matt there to help him this time and that she wasn't the First Mate this time.

 the sunset was pretty and the lake was very peaceful...i still managed to feel queezy though.

 Darci got really scared and cuddled with Heidi for awhile. Then she came and I held her for the rest of the trip. Surprisingly, she wanted to go out on the boat again the next day but I didn't let her because I didn't want the guys having to bring the boat in early because she was scared again. I felt so sorry for her though. Poor girlie.

 And here are a few pictures after supper one night. This is where all the class fades in the distance. It's just hard to make a baby in his diaper with ice cream running down his belly classy. But I love these anyway!

 Here are the four older kiddos at Patti's Settlement. We ate there one night and the kids enjoyed walking around the place before dinner. I'm not sure what was going on with Josh and Aria in this picture...so at least Darci and Will are smiling.

I hope this vacation was the first of many!!
