Babies

I haven't ever mentioned Lola, our cat, here. We got Lola from the farmer who let us put a garden on his land. She had been found and brought to the farm But she didn't really like the other animals and seemed to love our kids. Whenever we would be out at the farm, she would follow our kids around the farm. So, they asked us if we'd like to have her.

I'm not really a "cat person"...but Lola is a very sweet natured cat. She loves to be with people and as soon as she sees me, she immediately begins purring. It's so cute.

So, a couple months ago, we noticed a male cat hanging around. And as things would go, we noticed she got really fat...Lola was going to have babies.

Two weeks ago, we came out to the garage and found four little kittens with her. Three white ones and one gray/black one. This week their eyes opened and it makes them so much cuter!

Lola has been such a good mom. We moved them into our bathroom by our garage so they would be safer. Every time I peek in there, it seems like those kittens are nursing or sleeping on her. She just looks up at me like, "yeah...what a life".

I just think to myself, "I have SO much to look forward to in about 5 1/2 months."

We are expecting our 5th baby in September. :) Our van will finally have all the seats filled. :)
