Curious...

On another blog I used to be a part of, we would occasionally post questions and answer them. So, I thought I'd incorporate that onto my blog every once in awhile. Here it goes.

1. What is the greatest sacrifice someone has ever made for you?
I would say my Dad when he chose to move our family to America for our spiritual well-being. I know I didn't realize at that time what a sacrifice he was making to give up his country and where he felt most comfortable for our sakes.

2. Who is the person most able to make you laugh?
I would say my sister Tami, my brother-in-law, Jarod, and my husband Matt. They are all equally funny in my mind.

3.And here's one that Matt and I have had discussed before...Is it okay to read the end of a book when you are still in the middle?

Looking forward to hearing your answers!

I too, did not realize this as being such a great sacrafice until just a few years ago. But my mom choose not to re-marry until all of her children were grown and married. She deeply desired that but didnt want to have us growing up with that awkwardness so she waited and God truly blessed her patience!
Who is the person most able to make you laugh?
Darin and I laugh a lot together but its usually about something dumb I did :) other than that I can laugh at just about anyone!
Is it okay to read the end of a book when you are still in the middle?
NO NO NO NO!!!!!!! Tempting? YES but oh what fun the surprise at the end is!!!!!!! I LOVE the suspense of it!

Greatest Sacrifice: My mom and daddy gave and gave and gave. We did not have much growing up, but because of them I never felt like we did without.

Who makes me laugh: Matt and Gracie (because she acts just like matt - crazy).

Books: I agree with Jessica, it is tempting but wait for the ending. I do however admit that I can not watch a movie/read a book that is suspenseful without knowing the end.... It stresses me out to much.

Greatest sacrifice: I'm not sure I ever really considered it as this until I started thinking about this question . .. but I would say the countless big and little sacrifices my family went through while I was in Arizona. It's something I'm incredibly thankful for.

Who makes me laugh?

I had such a hard time coming up with just one. . .but I think I narrowed it down to my high school friend Jill. I'm not sure if it's because we've gotten in so many dumb scrapes together or just because we grew up alongside eachother and we know all the other's ackward moments. I may never let her meet all of you! : )

End of the book? No. No if's, and's or but's. No justification. Didn't you know there's a reason page 143 comes AFTER page 86?

My dad putting his life on hold for me and my sister. He always put us first and I really do not remember him ever doing anything for himself. Even as we get older, he puts us first. He did not remarried until we were grown. Oh the struggles he went threw. I guess that is why I love him so much.

Who is the person most able to make you laugh?

Well my sister is the only person I know that can make me laugh so hard that I cry, split out food, or milk comes out my nose. Then of course Jason, he never turns off. Never a dull moment!!!

Is it okay to read the end of a book when you are still in the middle?
YES, I always read the end of a book before reading, I have to know how it ends. Sigh, my if my hubby knew I was saying this, he would die of embrassment.

Hm...greatest sacrifice? I honestly don't know how to answer that one, I'll have to come up with an answer later.
Who makes me laugh...well it didn't take me long to narrow my choices to my husband, my brother and my father...between those three though I'd have to say the combination of my father and brother...they've had me rolling on the floor with tears pouring from my eyes I was laughing so hard.
And no, I don't think you should read the end of the book, unless you don't like suprises. I mean what fun is it to find out in the middle of the book you don't like the end...only because you haven't read the reasons for having a different ending then you'd hoped...I once had a cousin who refused to read a book because she didn't like how it ended...now what good is that?

(but i have been tempted.) :)

let me try that again. you should read the end of a book. just not before you've read the rest of it.

I hate to admit this because I think I might make a lot of enemies...but I ALWAYS read the end of the book first! If I don't like the ending I don't read the book. I have to know that the book is going to be worth my time. I don't want to spend hours reading a book, only to be disappointed by the ending and thus left feeling void of the happy ending I deserve! (I hope you all still like me!)

In answer to your other questions...The greatest sacrifice...Jesus dying for me so I can live! Who makes me laugh the most? Michael and Noah.

The thing about reading the end of the book in the middle just ruins the point of reading. If we could look at the end of our life half-way through it would you?

Greatest sacrifice besides Christ- I'd have to go with the consensus and say my parents. They just time and time again go teh extra mile for me. In fact, my mom drives here twice a week to help with the kids- over 100 miles each time! And my dad... just takes care of things. I have to say there's been times in my marriage where I've told Ben "My dad will know and will take care of that.... let's just call him". Ben tends to get sort of insulted that I don't think he can handle it!

Person most able to make me laugh- Ben is so funny and Cade is a crackup. I also think Nick & Tricia Z. are very funny (some of you know them?)

The book thing- if you're in doubt about the ending, I say read it. With movies, I'm a little more opinionated. We spent 2 hours one time watching Message in a Bottle and I was SOOO mad at the ending- 2 hours wasted. But books are a little more grayish. How's that for a wishy-washy answer?

Aaron! I like that analogy! I think endings are "ENDings" for a reason!

Okay, so I said that I read the end of the book. Being a teacher do I encourage this to my students NEVER. But like I said somewhere I am a hopeless romantic and like finding out the ending. Now on the other hand, if giving the chance would I want to know how my life was going to end, NO. (I do know that I will be in heaven) I enjoy waking up every morning knowing that the day is really not going to go as planned. That makes life exciting. For example, when I found out I was going to be momma!!!
