This morning we joined Matt's family (minus Aaron and Boox) at Towanda for the 4th of July parade. It was a great parade...especially for little kids because it wasn't too long and they threw candy! Here are pictures from the parade...if you weren't able to go to a parade this year, maybe this will give you a tast of it! Have a wonderful independance day!! God Bless America!!

This was funny...it was the Republican party and they had this great truck and candy and flags, etc. Right behind them was the Democratic party which consisted of two men holding a sign that said just that and two kids riding on unicycles sparyin people in the face with silly string. Quite a contrast really. It just cracked me up.
The community band...they were actually quite good!!

There were so many comments going through my head in looking at those pictures and I just wont write them all 'cause I wont bore you with my commentary.
But, the picture where none of the kids are smiling, if you make the picture larger, it looks like the boys are all staring at Drew's rear! I wonder what was going on.
And the picture of the town band? None of them were looking at a director...something about that picture was really funny!
Too funny, Rebekah. I used to be in that parade! I think Lucas was in it as well...in fact Dad and I were just reminiscing about it this morning. :)
It looks like it's gotten better, though..or maybe you just make it look better with your pix.
in fact, if they didn't have such a booming clarinet section, perhaps I could be in that parade again someday. ha. that's a funny thought.

I don't think we had matching shirts. :)In fact, I'm not even sure why we were in the parade! Maybe I was in for our Brownies Troop?
That pic of Darcy with her headband - just the other day Mya decided to wear her headband like that too. It makes me laugh!
It looks like fun - we may have to go next year!
