On Labor Day, at the last minute we decided to drive up to Starved Rock with Jarod and Heidi. We met Brandon and Mindy and their kids there. We did a little hiking and the cooked hamburgers and brats. It was a fun time! Here are some of the pictures...I'm basically uploading these because I can't seem to e-mail them to Heidi. So, here you go Heidi. (oh, and by the way, these pictures are very much out of order)
Will Fascinated with his Dad's fire Setting up our picnic area
Matt running around like a banchee! Of course, the kids loved it!
The group (minus Brandon who took this picture on his new Nikon camera...thanks for letting me post this) I really, don't like this picture because I look very similar to what a beached whale would look like if it could stand and wear clothes. But, it's the only group picture I have. I also know Heidi's going to be kind of mad that I posted this because she really doesn't like the way she looks either. Sorry Heidi HO. Just look at the adorable kids people!

Will playing with matches...a pyromaniac like his daddy matt running wildly again!More riders
the boys being very stealth with their walkie talkies...they didn't seem to understand that the point of the walkie talkie is that you don't have to stand next to eachother to hear what the other is saying.
what a cute little guy

this is the face Josh makes when he says, "But Sweetie (in reference to me or Matt) I NEED to!" That saying gets REALLY old in our house!
U. Jarod gets the fire going in the grill...
One of my favorite little people
I guess he must have been inspired by his U. Matt
Once again, playing with matches ...watching to see what Mommy thinks

someone is an amazing photographer. Had fun looking at the pictures and wish I knew who they all were. I finally made it to your blog and hope you don't mind me peeking at it every once in awhile.

Brats...that sounds soooo yummy. I think I sometimes dream about them over here.

Tami, I wouldn't complain too much...you were in Sunny Mexico...you would have definitely been invited otherwise.
I actually don't know why I wasn't invited to Mexico?!
