On Labor Day, at the last minute we decided to drive up to Starved Rock with Jarod and Heidi. We met Brandon and Mindy and their kids there. We did a little hiking and the cooked hamburgers and brats. It was a fun time! Here are some of the pictures...I'm basically uploading these because I can't seem to e-mail them to Heidi. The group (minus Brandon who took this picture on his new Nikon camera...thanks for letting me post this) I really, don't like this picture because I look very similar to what a beached whale would look like if it could stand and wear clothes. But, it's the only group picture I have. I also know Heidi's going to be kind of mad that I posted this because she really doesn't like the way she looks either. Sorry Heidi HO. Just look at the adorable kids people!

the boys being very stealth with their walkie talkies...they didn't seem to understand that the point of the walkie talkie is that you don't have to stand next to eachother to hear what the other is saying.
