Christmas at Our House

Well, it's been a very silent blog around here hasn't it? Well, things have been busy around here. And I always say, I don't blog when it begins to feel like a chore that needs to get done. That way it stays fun.

So, here are some pictures from all of our Christmas activities. They're kind of out of order...sorry about that.

Here's Darci on her new tricycle she got from Grandpa and Grandma K.

Josh opening his new barn! He loves playing farmer.

Aria bewildered by all the attention!

Matt's side of the family. It was a great Christmas once again!!

Jarod dancing with Darci. She was feelin very pretty in the new skirt she got from Jarod and Heidi.

Josh getting his first look at his new bike from Grandpa I.

Darci sporting her new spring trench coat from Grandpa I.! She loved it!

Will getting his new school bus from Grandpa. Poor little guy burned his hand really bad on the fireplace glass just a few minutes before this...kind of spoiled Christmas for him. So sad...

Will getting ready to snarf down some SUKIYAKI! MMMM! MMMM!

The SUKIYAKI meal!!!!! Our Family Tradition.

Our Nativity Scene...Matt made the stable for me a couple years ago for Christmas. I love it!

The cozy fireplace. On the mantle are 4 of my very treasured Christmas decorations. They're "carolers" my Mom gave us. They were special to my Mom too which makes them extra special!

Some of the ornaments

the tree

the banister

Darci and Josh getting some play time in the snow.

Aria enjoying the cold weather too.

We spent a morning at Jessica's house making cookies with Kendra, Heidi and the kids.

Heidi cutting out the cookies

Kendra decorating with little Ethan.

Aria just played the whole time...

The H. Family Christmas at our house. This was when the Granddaughters opened up the cookbooks from Grandma!! One of the funnest gifts I've ever gotten to be a part of giving!

just some of the group

singing Christmas Carols after dinner.

Rebekah,

Thank you for sharing all of the photos of your Christmas. I enjoyed seeing all of them. I have one question: who is the girl next to Bekah on the couch and in the center of the whole family picture? Is she someone that I should know? I'm just being nosy. You can e-mail me if you'd prefer (PamFurrer@comcast.net) Thanks!

Pam

Hi Pam...I guess I should have explained that Holly, Aaron's sister, was with us for part of the day. She was going to be working 3rd shift that night and so she hung out with us till she left for work.

Daish, thanks for the sweet compliment...and yes Tami's special...and I like having her close to ME!!! BUT, I guess Leo would be a good place too since all you great people are out there. But I'd be jealous....

Oh My!! When I clicked on some of the family pics to see everyone better, I saw my expression!! What in the world?? Chase must have been telling quite the story! :)

Great pictures, as usual! And it looks like you had a great vaca in Florida! With this 'arctic blast', I'm SURE you miss it!! I think i'd be in tears! :) (ok, maybe not)

Your mom gave Kory and I one of those carolers for a wedding gift, that and a decorative bicycle. It seemed like a very random gift, but the caroler is sitting proudly atop our mantel right now! I love him!!
