It's warm here today where we live. The snow is melting and I'm tempted to open my windows and pull out the spring clothes! But it always reminds me of Garrison Keillor's quote about unseasonably warm weather in the middle of winter. We're yearning for spring so we begin to think spring has arrived! But don't forget, we're only in February folks.

Oh, Garrison, you are so right! I need to remember that here in the mid west, I probably have a few weeks of winter left. But, it's SO good to feel warmth again!!

It really DOES feel like spring today! I'm a winter lover, but it actually is fun to feel like Spring isn't that far away.
i am SO enjoying it. in the past few years i've learned not to really expect spring 'til april because march always brings more snow. but i'm so happy for this reprieve. (even though i'm doing so much laundry since the kids can't resist the urge to cover themselves in the mud from all the melting snow.) :(
On the way to school today Mya commented "it feels like Florida in the morning."
I do love the weather...it reminds me of why I stay in Illinois. Such a great quote...love that old G.K.
